bby_blue_eyes2003 asked: i have a huge collection of toys (star wars, g i joes, hot wheels, johnny lightning, legos) I am looking for a book or a website or something that will help me determine the value of these toys. Some of the hotwheels i have are from the 70s, and some of the joes are from the early 80s. I have hundreds of hotwheels (for a dollar, oh yea, my son will benefit from this one day…haha). some are rare, and some are just wicked. I need something that list the value of these toys, and it doesnt matter if there is more than one source of information, I just need some help. I am tired of looking and not getting any where, so if you know, post here. I look at toyfare magazine, but it doesnt have all the things I have or what I am looking for.
Ebay is not what I am looking for. I am looking for an appraisal guide I guess. i have used it to see what other people are selling their toys for, but who knows if that is the actual value of the toys. Toyfare lists the avg cost of the toy, and the avg value for that toy as well. Toyfare just has the newer toys and not anything from the 70s and 80s
