The majority of people lack confidence so do not feel alone, self improvement and personal development are almost an alien tongue. Listen closely and you will hear:- “I cannot do that I am not skilled enough/educated enough” “I am too old/your/fat/thin” “I cannot be rich” “I cannot have more than my fair share” “I cannot make more money” “I cannot succeed” “Life is not fair” Do you ever catch yourself saying these self same words and phrases and yet you expect the law of attraction to work for you?

It is a good personal development exercise, in private, to write out the list of things that represent your self-limiting beliefs, for in doing so you can look at each one and see ways of changing them into positive strong beliefs. The barriers that are in your mind when you are faced with a task or an unfamiliar situation determine the quality of your self-improvement.

The law of attraction is prevented from working on your behalf by the self limiting beliefs in your mind that have been their from your childhood.

3. Stop – Think – look at your own history and ask what barriers to success have you got inside your mind?

Make a list of your top 3 limiting beliefs.

Using just positive thinking can you eliminate your self limiting beliefs that have been with you since your birth? If you can your personal development barriers will disappear. Look at each self limiting belief and write a positive thinking outcome beside it to take the strength out of its negativity and build your confidence.

4. Taking small steps in self improvement and winning more than you lose breeds confidence and confidence we have already determined destroys self limiting beliefs. Fear is a powerful emotion and many people do not only fear failure they also fear success.

5. Do not just accept that the beliefs of your childhood as your beliefs for today

Ask yourself, “Is this belief really true? Without a shadow of doubt I can say that if you analyse your self limiting beliefs you will find that they are based on half truths and misinformation. Ask yourself what your life will be like in the future if you allow any particular self limiting belief control your actions? Replacing a self-limiting belief with a positive thinking belief is the best way to achieve freedom and abundance in your life?”

Remember it is an easy exercise to control your self-limiting beliefs and turn them into positive thinking that enable you to taste the sweet taste of success. It starts with good solid goal setting.

Recently, I have a DIY on my watch-sew a quartz watch into a wirstband(as you can see in the picture below).Wristband can be viewed as sport or outdoor leisure goods and be worn in sports generally. It is elastic,making it able to  stick to the wrist.Also, it is quite sweat-absorbent.Hence,I enjoy wearing it going for an outing at weekend.

This DIY process goes as follow: first use a scissors to cut off the two straps ,only leaving a appropriate length.Then make sewing holes with an awl.Third sew the watch to the wristband with solid fine line. However, make sure you sew it on the center which will entitle the watch a balanced sense visually.The picture below shows the instrument I used at the DIY process.

Creativity without limits. DIY is fun and easy. Just take a little time and simple action ,you can have such DIY fun in your daily life as well.

Sophomore running back Mark Ingram has done something for the University of Alabama that legendary quarterbacks Joe “Willie” Namath and Kenny Stabler and every other football player at Alabama could not do–bring home a Heisman Trophy for the Crimson Tide faithful.

Ingram nudged out running back Toby Gerhart of Stanford in the closest vote of the award’s 75-year history to become the first Alabama player to ever win the annual trophy as the best player in college football.

Only a 28-point difference separated Ingram’s 1,304 votes from Gerhart’s 1,276. Ingram received 227 first-place votes to Gerhart’s 222. Finishing 3rd in the balloting was Texas quarterback Colt McCoy, 4th was Nebraska defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh, and 5th was Florida QB Tim Tebow. Tebow won the Heisman as a sophomore two years ago.

Colt McCoy was in the running last year when Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford won the Heisman Award. While McCoy did not win the Heisman this year (many thought he would because of his overall performance the last 3 years), he won several other awards.

McCoy won the Maxwell Award honoring the nation’s best all-around player, the Walter Camp Football Foundation’s Player of the Year Award for the second consecutive season, and the Davey O’Brien Award for being the nation’s best quarterback.

Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh won the Chuck Bednarik Award as the nation’s Best Defensive Player, the Outland Trophy as the nation’s Best Interior Lineman, the Lombardi Award as the nation’s Top Lineman, and the Bronco Nagurski Trophy as the nation’s Best Defensive Player.

Stanford’s Toby Gerhart won the Doak Walker Award as the nation’s Best Running Back. Tennessee’s Eric Berry accepted the Jim Thorpe Award honoring the Best Defensive Back. Notre Dame’s Golden Tate won the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s Best Receiver.

UCLA’s Kai Forbath took home the Lou Groza Award as the nation’s Best Kicker, and Georgia’s Drew Butler won the Ray Guy Award honoring the nation’s Best Punter.

Cincinnati’s Brian Kelly won the Coach of the Year Award on the same day he told his team he had accepted an offer to coach the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Kelly, an Irish Catholic, called the Notre Dame gig his dream job.

The 10 prior winners of the Heisman Trophy included 10 quarterbacks and 2 running backs. The two running backs included Reggie Bush of Southern California in 2005 and Ron Dayne of Wisconsin in 1999.
